Agent-ready website

AI assistants now read websites on people's behalf and are starting to act on them. We add a machine-readable layer that states who you are, what you offer and what they can do on your site, so an assistant that reads it has accurate information to work from.

When an assistant has to guess from a page built for human eyes, it can get prices, hours and services wrong, or pass you over. Many sites give it little better to work from.

Example: making a website readable to AI assistants
  1. Waits for a person 1. You confirm your facts Who you are, what you offer, where, and for whom.
  2. Done by us 2. A machine-readable layer is added Structured data and an llms.txt file.
  3. Runs on its own 3. Your facts, ready for assistants Accurate facts to work from. Whether an assistant uses them is its call.
  • Runs on its own
  • Waits for a person
  • Done by us

What is included

  • Structured data (JSON-LD) that states your business facts once, verified against the page
  • llms.txt and llms-full.txt files generated from your own content
  • A check of which known AI crawlers the site's rules allow or block, and a documented decision on each. Crawlers choose whether to honour those rules
  • A review of your forms and key actions for agent use. Declared actions (WebMCP, a proposed standard still in browser trial) are added only as an agreed pilot

How it goes

  1. We audit what an assistant can currently learn from your site.
  2. We add the structured data and the llms files, generated from the site's own content. Where the site's build can regenerate them, they update when the content does; where it cannot, we tell you what to regenerate after a content change.
  3. We verify the output and document it.
  4. The work is delivered by JPL Digital, the web practice of the same company.

Price

A fixed price for the scope in the quote. Whether a given assistant uses what we add is that assistant's call, and we do not promise placement in AI answers.

Questions

Will this get us cited by ChatGPT?

We cannot promise that. It gives assistants accurate facts to work from; whether they cite you depends on them and on the rest of your presence. On request, JPL Digital can measure your AI visibility before and after, as a separate item in the quote. The measurement samples a fixed set of prompts on the dates it is run: a change between the two runs is an observation, not proof of what caused it.

What are declared actions?

WebMCP is a proposed web standard, not a finished one. It lets a page state what an assistant may do on it, such as request a quote. At the time of writing it is available only as a browser origin trial, parts of it are expected to change, and its benefit has not been measured. We add it only as an agreed pilot, built so it can be removed cleanly, and we tell you when we advise against it.

Is this SEO?

It overlaps. The same structured facts help search engines, and JPL Digital handles both.

Describe the task

What happens next

  1. A person reads it.
  2. You get a written first read, usually within one business day.
  3. If it is worth doing, a written quote follows.
